Kate Grovergrys is a skilled educator with over 25 years of experience teaching college and high school students. In her current position as a professor at Madison Area Technical College, she is known for developing and delivering high quality professional development about a variety of topics, from inclusive teaching practices to artificial intelligence (AI).
As an early adopter of generative AI, Kate has established herself as an aspiring innovator in the field, with a profound passion for guiding individuals on utilizing AI to enrich their personal and professional lives. With her extensive practical knowledge of AI, she has presented at local, regional, and national conferences. Her enthusiasm and expertise in AI not only make her an influential voice in the current landscape of educational technology, but also a driving force in shaping the future of how we interact with and benefit from artificial intelligence.

Tina Rettler-Pagel, Ed.D., is also a full-time faculty member at Madison College. She spends most of her time on projects and initiatives focused on digital learning, but also supports faculty in exploring and planning for the pedagogical opportunities of generative AI.
